bad news and good news: i screwed up with the robots.txt. google has been spidering pages that i didn’t want in the serps. that means we have about 1 mio urls in google that are unecessarily in there.
the good news in that is that i will now correct the robots.txt the pages will be removed in a couple of days or weeks and we should see boost of the other urls lets see what happens.

lol well i don’t know about blog carinvals as we are not a typical blog. if people want to feature us and you want to spend time on it. sure go ahead. i don’t really know about featuring other blogs on here. not sure if that is our purpose you know? you decide

Just read an interesting blogpost about the (un)importance of referral traffic from social networks, bookmarking sites, twitter etc.. http://www.sexywidget.com/my_weblog/2009/10/is-facebook-and-twitter-referral-traffic-wildly-overhyped.html
Just to put things into perspective: search is still king of referral traffic with almost 98% of 60.000 tested sites! We have to be careful in setting targets for social media efforts. Traffic might not be the most realistic one to choose
